Volt is immediately hiring for an Apprentice Maintenance Technician in Garland, TX

As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Provide support to the lead Maintenance Technician
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems
• Review and audit all assigned areas as needed under the direction of the lead Maintenance Technician
• Maintain records for equipment inventory, building systems, preventive maintenance
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - M-F

The ideal candidate will have:

• General knowledge of trouble shooting industrial machines, sewing machines and electrical equipment
• Experience with preventative maintenance
• Hands on technical, electrical or warehouse manufacturing. Technical school experience will be considered
• Good communication skills. Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus
• Safety knowledge ex LOTO, Electrical Safety
• Sitting/Standing/Walking constantly for 6-8 hours
• Simple grasping constantly 6-8 hours
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally less than 1 hour

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
