JOB DESCRIPTION

Lifestyle Lender Trainee

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, coachable individual to join our growing Association as an inside sales Lifestyle Lender Trainee in our Marianna, Milton, Tallahassee, or Monticello office. The ideal candidate is energized by providing outstanding service over the phone, electronically and in person while meeting the business needs of others. As part of the Lifestyle Lending Division, the trainee will be coached and supervised on the following, with the ultimate goal of advancement to work independently upon successful mastery and execution (determined by department manager) of the required skillset to perform the job duties and responsibilities which typically takes up to a year to achieve.

LEAD AND REFERRAL MANAGEMENT

  • Throughout the day, skillfully evaluates and manages the Association's digital leads, lead pipeline and warm call-ins using an established process which includes completing an initial assessment of eligibility, scope/purpose of loan funds, proposed collateral and creditworthiness. When applicable, accurately refers leads to the residential or agribusiness lending units for further development of the lead.
  • Competently and timely engages with prospects and customers to understand where they are in their "Buy Journey" by gathering information about each potential applicant, their current and future financial needs and goals as well as their pain points.
  • Effectively educates client about the loan process while promoting Farm Credit's various products and benefits.
  • Documents all communication in a customer relationship management system (e.g., CRM).
LEAD CONVERSION
  • Guides prospect to a purchase decision for the successful conversion of a lead to a won loan opportunity.
  • Completes pre-qualifications for lifestyle loan applicants.
LOAN ORIGINATION
  • Originates transactional term loans, primarily real estate secured.
  • Gathers appropriate level of financial information along with loan application and reviews for completeness and determines if file should be advanced to underwriting.
  • Prepares loan narratives and submits to underwriting.
  • Prepares loan offer letters, locks interest rates and orders appraisal.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Agriculture. Candidate must be organized, have a team focused attitude with impeccable customer service and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $44,800-54,900 and up to 9% employer contribution to your 401K. Proficient in English and Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. This position is not eligible for remote work.
