Seeking a Legal Assistant to serve as a liaison between city departments, external firms, and legal teams for managing liability claims. This temporary position involves coordinating high volumes of communication, tracking deadlines, filing documents, and ensuring attorneys stay on top of court dates.
Key responsibilities include:
Communicating with various stakeholders (attorneys, city officials, external firms).
Tracking and managing legal documents and deadlines.
Filing and organizing paperwork using Excel (light tracking), Outlook, and Adobe Sign.
Maintaining professionalism and tact while representing the city.
Ensuring a high level of organization and independent work.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Outlook and basic Excel; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
Previous experience in a paralegal or similar administrative support role is ideal.
