Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Legal Assistant to assist a client in the SW Houston.
Job Information:
- Temporary-to-hire, In office
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- Pay: $17/HR
The Legal Assistant in this role will support a law firm that specializes in Bankruptcy and Collections. This is a fast-paced environment therefore, a highly organized individual would be a great fit for this position. Previous legal experience working with delinquent accounts that have gone through the litigation process and have received a judgment from the court is a plus, but not required. The position offers a great opportunity for both legal assistants and entry-level applicants seeking valuable experience in the legal industry.
The ideal candidate must possess the qualities below:
- Ability to work in a high-volume, document production environment
- Detail Oriented; Ability to multitask
- Must be able to prioritize job responsibilities
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required
- Professional demeanor
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not required
- Strong research skills required
