Lead Sprinkler System Installer

The Lead Sprinkler System Installer will responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Manage specific installation projects assigned to them without supervision. Ensure the entire installation process is done completely and accurately.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*  

* Use project drawings to interpret installation requirement details  

* Install and test installation of fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit construction projects

* Follow designed plans and communicate design changes to fit actual site requirements

* Manage materials delivered to site

* Update daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings  

* Delegate appropriate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed goals  

* Train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in the basic process or service, repair, and/or system installation  

* Accurately complete and maintain paperwork 

* Maintain vehicle and tools as per company policy  

* Perform other duties assigned

*Education & Qualifications:*  

* Ability to read and comprehend blueprints without supervision

* Working knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes

* Display knowledge of principles and practices of fire safety

* Recognize and report deviations through inspection programs

* Act in a lead capacity

* Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations

* Maintain accurate records and reports

* Understand and follow oral and written directions

* Must use small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery comfortably

* Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software

* Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy

* Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record

* Must speak English
