Volt is immediately hiring for Inventory Control Associate II in Long Beach, CA.
As a Inventory Control Associate II you will:
- Perform inventory cycle counts and submit counts on handheld device.
- Utilize WMS system to investigate discrepancies, identify root cause, and correct inventory.
- Communicate discrepancies and issues to Inventory Control & Warehouse Management.
- Verify quantity/lot/revision/other product attributes as requested by various teams within the organization.
- Assist with warehouse re-organization projects to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stock materials in their respective inventory locations.
- Maintain the workplace and warehouse in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
This is a
full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm open to overtime.
The ideal candidate will have
Mandatory Skills: - Ability to lift /push up to 55lbs.
- Microsoft Office experience such as Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus.
- 1-3 Years of previous Warehouse, Distribution or 3PL experience required.
- Experience with a WMS/ERP system a plus.
- Basic math skills required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Previous forklift experience required.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
