Summer Intern Program duration: June 2 - August 8, 2025.

Position: AX0001 -Summer Internship - Commercial Loan Support

The Commercial Loan Support Intern will deliver high quality professional service to internal and external customers, understanding all aspect of loan processing, ensuring requests are processed accurately within established credit guidelines and departmental procedures. Cross functional training which enables ability to do other jobs within the department.

Job Duties Include:

• Coordinating & analyzing agent loan notices
• Assist in loan consolidation
• Work closely with Director & Team Lead for system migration efforts
• Ad hoc reporting analyzing loan documentation
• Working with IT on AI technology and notification center creating dashboards
• Assisting loan servicers in administrative duties
• Other loan related and miscellaneous tasks (i.e. Pre-Payment penalties, DDA related, Manual entries etc.).
• Other responsibilities as assigned (handle the transactions not able to be handled by other areas of the department.

Location: Southington CT or Jericho, NY

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:

• Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
• Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
• Highly organized
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail
• Experience creating and delivering presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
• Strong analytical skills
• Collaborative and inclusive team player
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
