Job Description

We are seeking an Intern to join our Intellectual Property team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Intellectual Property team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Intellectual Property Intern. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of the Intellectual Property industry, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating various types of financial models
• Drafting reports and presentations
• Reviewing documents and/or depositions for information related to the engagement
• Assisting with practice development efforts of the Managing Directors
• Meeting with clients and/or counsel to collect information for reports and analyses
• General administrative/support duties

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Working towards an undergraduate business degree in Finance or Accounting with a GPA of 3.5 or above
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility
• Great attitude and client presence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Local candidates preferred (relocation package is unavailable)

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Must be able to work in person in our Houston, TX office on a hybrid schedule.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
