Responsibilities

• Answer questions over the phone, from patients, parents, staff, and insurance companies regarding insurance coverage and claim status.
• Sort, scan, and distribute mail.
• Support claim submission and contract submission.
• Organize files and folders.
• Support projects as assigned.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Clear and professional communication.
• Strong attention to details and customer service.
• Willing to learn and grow.
• Experience with or knowledge of medical billing practices.
• Experience with or knowledge of accounting practices.
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets.
• Familiar with HIPAA and Confidentiality practices and regulations.
