ECS is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst (Junior) to work in our Morgantown, WV office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
ECS is seeking a qualified Information Assurance Analyst (Junior) to support transformative science and technology solutions for the Department of Energy.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSP).
- Implementing and managing NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 or later Security Controls.
- Developing and adding security controls for ZT capabilities to Common Control catalog
- Supporting the SA&A process.
- Supporting Continuous Monitoring activities.
- Managing POA&Ms and developing remediation strategies.
- Aligning systems activities to the NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF).
- Supporting the incident response process.
- Identifying and supporting system Interconnection Security requirements.
- Supporting audit logging review and remediation activities.
- Providing OMB FISMA data.
- Developing and documenting incident reporting procedures for service desk, admins, and security staff for incidents.
Daily activities include:
- analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
- perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- identify resources required for each task.
Required Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or network security.
OR
- Associate's Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or network security AND two years of related work experience.
OR
- Four years of related work experience
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- Must be a US Citizen per contract.
- Must currently live in Morgantown, WV or willing to relocate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills: - Active Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- Two or more years experience supporting US Government customers.
- Project Management Professional certification.
- Experience supporting complex government and programs of a research and development nature.
