RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking an IAM Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Architecture and Engineering:- The IAM Engineer will guide the automation of user account and identity lifecycle management (creation, provisioning, securing, inactivation)
- Lead IAM integrations and implement role-based access control (RBAC) strategies
- Collaborate on design, implementation, and support of IAM technologies
- Plan, build, test, manage, and update security for company assets
- Act as subject matter expert for Identity Governance and RBAC
- Reconcile discrepancies between assigned and required access rights
- The IAM Engineer will troubleshoot IAM tool and process issues
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation
- Enforce policies to ensure compliance with minimum necessary access rules
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and implementation of recommendations
- Generate reports for in-depth analysis of IAM issues
- Support optimization of MFA, SSO, biometrics, and MDM
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Security, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CISM, IAM-specific) a plus
- 5+ years experience with IAM applications (Active Directory, Entra ID, SailPoint, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0
- Strong experience with identities, entitlements, and accounts across various tech stacks
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Deep understanding of directory services and IAM technology
- Ability to develop workflows and documentation for IAM processes
- Understand and interpret APIs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
