Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for providing group psychotherapy on inpatient units, residential, and/or partial hospital programs, along with providing individual therapy which focuses on the application and acquisition of skills addressed in groups. Provided groups will fit within the following frameworks: 1) educational, 2) social interaction, 3) community-making. They will work with the Director of Inpatient Group Therapy, Belmont, and specific units' Inpatient Group Coordinators to facilitate group experiences and support the needs of the identified client populations. Additionally, they are encouraged to participate in other hospital activities including, as time allows, committees, teaching, trainings, and research.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (MA) or higher from a recognized clinical/counseling or related behavioral health training Program, including: Expressive Therapy, counseling Psychology, Social work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Psychiatry. • Licensure in area of study/training is required. • Previous Group and individual Therapy experience preferred.
