Position: Finance Manager

Work Location: Morristown, NJ, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.
What you will be doing:
To provide and present timely, accurate, insightful and actionable business intelligence to Finance and Cross Functional key stakeholders. This position will support financial processes and reporting for the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE), Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), and Regional Marketing Office (RMO) teams.
- Oversee and manage the cross-channel media budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all North America brands, communicating with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial oversight and ensure media spending is managed within budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and coordinate reporting to drive financial insights into media spending inclusive of budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Ensure media spending and DTC financials are booked to the accurate GL codes; researching and correcting as needed.
- Manage and prepare needed month end media related accruals across brands.
- Build consistent media financial processes across all brands.
- Insightful variance analysis and recommended plans of action, if applicable.
- Lead all aspects of the brand level and consolidated DTC financials to help drive the organization's DTC strategies.
- Build and drive consistent DTC financial processes to develop fully burdened brand and consolidated DTC P&Ls.
- Support strategic planning processes.
- Support the financial reporting processes and packages for the North America and international RMOs.
- Provide insights into key drivers and variances.
- Packages include budget, forecasts, and actuals.
- Develop and deliver succinct ad-hoc analyses.
- Creatively identify ways to supplement requested analyses to make more meaningful.
- Consistently deliver ad-hoc analysis on original dedication date.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field
- 3+ Years Experience as Financial Analyst or Similar Role
- Highly proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
- Proven Competence with ERP System(s)
- Experience using and developing PowerBI
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:- Consumer Goods Industry Experience
