What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS receivers) to gather accurate data.
- Hold survey rods or prism poles to assist with precise elevation and distance measurements.
- Mark stakes and boundaries to ensure alignment and accuracy on-site.
- Clear obstacles (vegetation or debris) to ensure uninterrupted measurements.
- Record and communicate data to senior surveyors and field crews.
- Transport and maintain equipment, ensuring it is ready for the field.
- Assist with traffic control to ensure safety on busy sites.
Education & Experience Qualifications: What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED - No prior experience required; we'll train you!
- Strong work ethic - Dependable, reliable, and takes pride in your work.
- Positive attitude - Enthusiastic team player who thrives in the field.
- Willingness to learn - Eager to develop new skills and grow with us.
- Love for the outdoors - Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina - Able to walk, climb, and lift equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Willingness to travel 50% to 100% - This role requires significant domestic travel. Per diem is offered for travel-related expenses.
