FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL

POSITION DETAILS

• Type: Direct Hire/Permanent position
• Location: Manchester, NH (100% onsite)
• Salary: $65,000 - $72,000 DOE
• Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
• Manage multiple family law cases including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence matters
• Maintain case files and deadlines using legal practice management software
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial notebooks
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings
• Calculate child support and alimony payments using state guidelines
• Prepare financial affidavits and asset/liability spreadsheets
• Conduct initial client interviews and gather case information
• File documents with courts and ensure proper service of process

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of Litigation/Family Law Paralegal experience
• Demonstrated experience in family/domestic law
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively with multiple attorneys
