CCI Facility Support Services, LLC (CCI-FSS) is growing! We are seeking a Facilities Project Manager to maintain and oversee an organization's grounds, buildings and equipment preventative maintenance program, including negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates. This person would be responsible for overseeing a facility support contract totaling $6M over 5 years. The facility is at the National Law Enforcement Communication Center in Orlando, FL. The embedded facility team consists of three full time employees responsible for the day-to-day activity with a supplemental tri-hat assisting with any resultant repair type construction projects.

This position will be based out of Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
  • Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility's needs.
  • Reviewing client invoices prior to submittal.
  • Working with subcontractors to provide services that are not self-performed by our internal staff, including working with the accounting team to prepare purchase requisitions and subcontracts, and reviewing and approving vendor invoices.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Facilities Management or an Engineering field OR High School/GED with ten years of on-the-job experience or completed facilities management coursework in a technical or trade school, and practical training in leadership, project management, communication, sustainability, and operations management.
  • Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
  • Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.
  • Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, crawling, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of 35 pounds or more. If required, individual must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to; hard hats, safety-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Job is performed in a combination of office work, work throughout occupied and unoccupied buildings, and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Building assessments will be conducted throughout buildings including crawl spaces, attic spaces, and confined spaces. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
