Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is growing! We are seeking a talented Facilities Manager to join our dynamic CCI Facility Support Services, LLC, a subsidiary of BBCH with the position located in Raleigh, NC. Position Summary

The Facilities Manager serves as the singular employee to perform and manage operations and maintenance services related to building systems, custodial, pest control, refuse, ground maintenance, and pavement clearance for a government facility. The Facility Manger is the primary point of contact with the end user, receiving service requests and then pursuing the solution through the required chain of command. This role includes managing related subcontractors to meet the contract services. The Facility Manager performs safety and quality inspections and ensures adherence to industry standard best practices. The Facility Manager also serves as the onsite Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). The Facility Manager is also responsible for gathering and recording all information for reporting requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage coordination, safety, quality, and scope of work for vendors providing routine, project, and emergency services.
  • Proactively perform building, equipment, and real property inspections to identify, document and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform in-scope maintenance and repairs on facility's building systems via observation or request, i.e., HVAC, plumbing, leaks, flooring, ceiling tiles, doors, drywall, painting, intrusion, etc.
  • Know the prime and vendor contracts to align all activities and decisions to the intended scopes of work.
  • Operate standard building system maintenance and repair equipment and tools, i.e., snow blower, lawn mower, chainsaw, etc.
  • Generate contract reports and plans for maintenance, repairs, safety and other related activities and requirements.
  • Assist to develop scopes of work and requirements for project work.
  • Communicate regularly with onsite customer, Project Manager, and COR about day-to-day and project activities.
  • Prepare facility for changing weather conditions.
  • Respond to emergency services outside regular business hours within one hour.
  • Perform coordinated remote work, such as required reporting, when the facility is closed during standard business days/times.
  • Periodic weekend work is required.
  • Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes as needed.
  • Attend all company and government required security, safety, quality, and operations training.
  • Be familiar with and practice the company's core success values.
  • Communicate early with leadership about concerns or problems, proactively self-manage your role and responsibilities, and consistently deliver predictive high-quality results.
Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Facilities Management or related field OR High School/GED with five years of on-the-job experience or coursework in a technical or trade school.
  • At least five years of experience with advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • At least five years of safety related experience.
  • Proficiency with related tools and techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, such as MS-Word and MS-Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain access to the assigned government facilities.
  • Government contract experience is preferred.
  • Possess OSHA 30-Hour Certification is preferred.
  • Industry mechanical trade license is preferred, i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing.

The employee is regularly required to hear, talk, sit, and use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard and phone. The employee may be occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and lift, handle, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust vision.
