Position Summary:
Perform diagnoses, troubleshoot and repair of electronic/electro-mechanical devices such as printers, routers, switches, and pc's, following established standard repair procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Main focus of the position is troubleshooting and repairing various Printers in addition to other peripherals.
- Tests, diagnose, repairs, burns-in and cleans assigned equipment in accordance with established standard repair procedures.
- Interacts on a professional level with associates, participating in group meetings, cross-training and information sharing.
- Monitors safety stock on assigned equipment to meet safety stock requirements.
- Clean and maintain work area and assigned test equipment and tools.
- Follows department static control procedures.
- Maintains required paperwork, records and documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Performs basic through-hole soldering.
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of electronic and electro/mechanical equipment.
- Ability to use basic board level troubleshooting strategies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Logical problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of basic electronic theory.
- Provide basic call resolution skills via talk to tech program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 Years related on the job experience.
- Degree and or certification from college/technical/vocational school
Hourly Compensation Range:$22.00/Hour - $29.00/HourCDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
