Director of FP&A

Our Vancouver client, a publicly traded organization with a fantastic culture and reputation is hiring a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team. This organization is highly stable, well respected and employees the best of the best talent with opportunities for collaboration and growth.

As the Director of FP&A you will be responsible for the following:

• Partnering with senior leadership on growth and strategy with a fiscal focus to achieve long term goals
• Direct the annual budgeting process and monthly analysis
• Identify key drivers and areas of operational improvement
• Ad-hoc reporting on financial and operational efficiencies
• Prepare and present monthly board decks
• Provide leadership and mentoring to FP&A team

As the Director of FP&A you bring the following experience:

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. MBA highly valued
• Experience in GAAP and internal controls. Special consideration provided to CPA's and past public accounting professionals
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in a publicly traded company is highly preferred
• Strong background in manufacturing desired
