Overview:Reporting to the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Director for Admissions Marketing Communications will manage and oversee all recruitment campaign development and execution, most importantly the transactional communications through the Technolutions Slate CRM. This individual will also work closely and coordinate efforts with the Office of Marketing and Communications, especially as it relates to brand management and maintaining consistency.

- Develop a comprehensive outreach strategy for building undergraduate enrollment, including funnel management and development of first year, transfer, accelerated nursing, and international student communications.
- Develop and manage the communications calendar.
- Utilize data to make strategic decisions about where to focus efforts and direct communications. Pivot communications as needed to maximize ROI.
- Serve as point person for external Admissions marketing vendors, including but not limited to the College Board, Niche, Capture, and EAB. Keep site profiles up-to-date, manage contract negotiations, and negotiate terms of contracts to efficiently utilize the available budget and maximize returns.
- Coordinate and manage communications with prospective students and their families through multiple outreach channels including email, text message, social media and direct mail. Work closely with Marketing and Communications on all print piece development.
- Develop admissions event invitations and communications strategies and copy for open houses, information sessions, admitted students' days, virtual workshops, etc.
- Assist Admissions and Financial Aid staff with the creation of presentation materials for travel and events.
- Establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards for efficient and effective admissions communications and event registrations.
- Provide actionable reports to assist leadership with decision-making.
- Remain current on emerging technologies, innovative management tools, and admission and marketing best practices.
- Represent the Office of Admissions on University committees, task forces and special assignments as required.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience may substitute for some of the above education requirements
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in admissions at a higher education institution Ability to think creatively, strategically and collaborativelyExperience with Admissions information systems (i.e. Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Colleague)Comprehensive knowledge of educational systems.Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of Quinnipiac studentsStrong interpersonal communication skills: strong relationship management skills.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusionSpecial Instructions to Applicants:
