Role: UX Writer

Location: Louisville, Chicago, or Remote (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST)

Length: 6 month extendible W2 contract, NO C2C

The UX Writer will play a pivotal role in defining and creating content for web, mobile, and related channels. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, they will develop a deep understanding of healthcare subjects and audience information needs. The writer's primary goal is to ensure that the right content reaches the right audiences at the right time-whether consumers, members, providers, employers, or agents/brokers.

Role Essentials:

• At least 5 years of UX writing experience
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a similar field
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing content for various content types and digital channels, including long- and short-form content for web and mobile, email, SMS, and push notifications
• Experience using SEO tactics and strategies to inform copy
• Strong grasp of user experience and the role of content within design in a digital environment
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and transitioning seamlessly between strategic and tactical work
• Experience working in an embedded agile product team, particularly with ecommerce sites
• Familiarity with content management systems
• Knowledge of online workflow and tracking tools, such as Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and the AP Stylebook

Role Desirables:

• Experience in wellness and/or healthcare, especially in regulated industries
• Familiarity with content management systems like AEM or Salesforce
• Exposure to AI tools
