Description:
Job Title: Customer Support Representative I
Location: Johnston, IA
Support Hours: 7 am - 6 pm CST, Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts within this window)
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide front-line technical support and solutions to customers via telephone, email, and chat.
- Address product-related inquiries, issues, and concerns to optimize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle common calls and emails related to:
- General product questions, availability, and compatibility.
- Issues/complaints for Ag, Residential and Commercial Turf, and Golf products.
- Warranty registration and extended warranty coverage.
- Out-of-warranty assistance.
- Parts and publications lookups.
- Loyalty Rewards programs.
- Document each customer interaction effectively.
Special Considerations:
- Training and mentoring will be on the 8am-4:30pm shift for approximately 6 weeks.
- Full productivity is expected to be reached within 3-4 months from the start date.
- Training includes 2 weeks of classroom training and 2-4 weeks of on-the-job training with an experienced technician.
- Responsibilities may include Tier 1 or Tier 2 support.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Relevant Work Experience:
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 6 months of customer service/support experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong computer, research, and troubleshooting skills.
- Availability to work support hours and occasional holidays.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Relevant Work Experience:
- Knowledge of agriculture, turf (mowers), and utility vehicles.
- Prior work experience in Agriculture or Technology dealer channels.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
