This person's primary location for holiday coverage is FWBH but this is a Community Hospital Division position and this person will be expected to cover shifts at both FMFH and FWBH. This person will be expected to cover shifts on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift as well as weekends.

Job Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

No CT experience required.Willing to train new grads! A minimum of one year of CT experience IS preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.

Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three (3) months of hire.
