RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Leesburg, VA that is seeking a Critical Facility Technician.Duties Include:- Support electrical and mechanical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones
- Critical Load is still supplied through one source (-N-)
- PDU shutdown for power meter replacement
- Power Interruption Testing (PIT)
- Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source
- Master controller shutdown or replacement
- Night shift 6pm-6am PST, 12-hour shift
- Sunday-Tuesday with every other Wednesday
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification - can be completed during onboarding
- 5+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center)
- Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS)
- Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks
- Previous datacenter experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
