We're looking for an outstanding colleague to help develop and lead how we communicate about the LEGO brand, our business and our values - with children as our role models.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and external corporate communication for the LEGO Group's factory in Chesterfield County, Virginia, U.S.
  • Develop and implement internal and external communications plans that strengthen the corporate reputation of the LEGO Group.
  • Promote a sense of belonging, motivation and communication inside and outside the organization.
Responsibilities - Internal:
  • Design and implement internal communication activities and campaigns to strengthen two-way communication with all colleagues, promote and embed the LEGO Group culture throughout the site, and drive engagement with the LEGO Group and LEGO brand.
  • Develop, implement and manage internal communication channels for the factory site, ensuring smooth operation and timely updating of channels.
  • Organize and produce written and visual communication content for the factory's internal channels.
  • Lead the elevation of local content from our Virginia factory to our global internal communication channels, and the localization of global internal communication content for the team at the Virginia factory.
  • Support the factory General Manager and Leadership Team with key communication activities and provide counsel on key change programs.
  • Collaborate with key internal partners (public affairs, social responsibility, HR, regional communication team) to inform the development of a comms plan and ongoing communications activities.
Responsibilities - External:
  • Build and strengthen the reputation of the LEGO Group in Virginia through a structured and consistent approach.
  • Support the development and coordination of crisis communication as needed in Virginia.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for external communication agency, and manage relationship together with support from global communication
  • Respond to local media enquiries and lead media visits to the factory.
  • Support the corporate events and visitor program.
  • Represent the LEGO Group in various forums from a communications perspective

  • Self-starter who can inspire and motivate others, leading by example
  • Experience counseling senior business leaders
  • Understanding of the U.S. media landscape required; knowledge of local Virginia media landscape preferred
Additional details on this position
  • The salary for this position has a range of $100,700 - $151,100 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
