Position: CNC Programmer
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay: $28+ per hour + Benefits (Direct Hire!)
Shift: First Shift, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in numerical control machining and programming.
Job Summary
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for planning and performing machine operations on CNC machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal and other materials to meet specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, program sheets, and specifications to determine required operations.
- Operate CNC machining centers, including milling, drilling, and boring.
- Review setup sheets and specifications to determine machining sequences and dimensions.
- Work with materials such as metal, composites, plastic, and rubber.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, tooling maintenance, and upkeep tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong math skills and experience using measuring tools.
Language Skills
- Effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and specifications.
