Position Overview

This role will work directly with a manufacturer located in Battle Creek, MI, and will be required to be on-site up to three days per week.

In this role, you'll utilize data, analytics, and insights to drive growth strategies and tackle vital business challenges for a dynamic client. We're seeking candidates with prior experience in market research, consumer-packaged goods (CPG), or marketing services, who also possess a deep interest in analyzing data to uncover actionable insights into consumer behavior, shopping trends, retail dynamics, and market performance. Strong analytical, storytelling, and communication skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

Advanced Analytic Skills: Showcase proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to devise meaningful solutions for clients:

  • Approach clients with coherent, fact-based data and recommendations tailored to their business needs.
  • Consistently deliver analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps or opportunities, driving value for the client.
  • Identify business issues and opportunities, offering appropriate analytic solutions and approaches.
Consultative Selling: Utilize business, industry, and domain knowledge to identify, develop, and close business opportunities:
  • Pose probing questions to challenge assumptions and push beyond the status quo.
  • Synthesize information across diverse issues and translate it into project frameworks that deliver client solutions.
Impactful Presence: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills, projecting a professional image:
  • Build trust with clients, Circana client solutions teams, cross-functional Circana organizations, and business partners, positioning oneself as a domain expert and valuable partner.
  • Exhibit adaptability in communication, swiftly tailoring messages to the appropriate level or function with confidence and polish.
Client Focus: Consistently prioritize client satisfaction and uphold commitments to meet their needs:
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Proactively assist customers in identifying solutions to unaddressed challenges.
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with client-facing teams, actively soliciting feedback to enhance the relationship.
  • Effectively track and manage multiple work streams across various clients, adeptly allocating time and resources to evolving priorities.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, insights, or related functions, preferably within a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Research, or Marketing Services company.
  • Proficiency with syndicated data tools such as Circana, IRI, NPD, or similar platforms is a requirement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing and integrating multiple data sources (point-of-sale, panel, etc.) to address client business challenges, delivering data-driven insights and implications.
  • Skilled in engaging clients in a consultative manner to effectively solve and manage content deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to successfully partner with cross-functional teams to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
