Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Time and Materials (T&M) Billing Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately charging customers for the time and materials used in various projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of billing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Calculating Costs: Determine the cost of materials and the hourly wage for each person working on the project.

Creating Invoices: Generate detailed invoices that include the cost of materials and the hourly wage for each person involved in the project.

Communicating with Clients: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding payment status and resolve any payment issues promptly.

Maintaining Records: Keep detailed records of invoices, payments, and all billing-related transactions.

Following Up on Overdue Accounts: Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate with collections agencies as necessary.

Staying Up to Date: Stay informed about changes in billing regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
This is a full time, temp to hire role with an hourly pay rate of $23 per hour.
