Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Associate with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
  • Handle all aspects of case management, including taking and defending depositions, conducting discovery, and preparing for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Draft and argue law and motion documents.
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills in drafting pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California and in good standing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience defending public entities is a major plus.
