Associate Broker

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Dallas, Texas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Associate brokers are responsible for supporting senior reinsurance brokers in a variety of projects.

We will count on you to:

• Performs tasks related to the quoting, binding and servicing of new and renewal reinsurance placements to assist with serving clients.
  
• Program management of internal and external by keeping senior brokers up-to-date. Assists with responding to client requests for information, coordinating with other departments as necessary, and clearing with senior brokers.
  
• Updates more senior-level Brokers and Supervisors on issues, progress etc, regularly and upon request to assist the Broker with serving clients.
  
• Assists in the timely production of placement submissions, including exhibits and narratives, and in tracking reinsurer underwriters progress / questions.
  
• Maintains business relationships to better serve clients. Trains new employees and monitors workflow to ensure the group runs smoothly.
  
• May analyze contract documents and financial statements for insurance and reinsurance entities.
  

What you need to have:

• Reinsurance broking/analyst experience
  
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  
• Bachelor's degree
