SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director's primary responsibilities are to 1) manage a University fundraising program for the undergraduate senior class; 2) develop and execute a plan to educate all undergraduate students about the importance of philanthropic support to the University and encourage them to give back as students and alumni; and 3) to support the coordination of yearly events for the Office of Annual Giving.
The Assistant Director will hire annually and supervise student interns to co-lead the Senior Legacy Committee. The Assistant Director will work with these interns to develop strategies to encourage seniors to participate in the class gift, including planning events and facilitating communications for that purpose. Working closely with the Associate Director of Annual Giving, the Assistant Director will also create ways to educate all undergraduate students about philanthropy at the University. The Assistant Director will also support the planning and execution of Annual Giving event logistics each year, including all Senior Legacy events, an on-campus Giving Day event, and the Reunion Weekend Greek Theatre Party.
