Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Perform laser welding of microelectronic assemblies to create hermetic seals, utilize automated machines, leak checking, operating vacuum ovens and thermal chambers, and work with mechanical presses, inert gas mixture gloveboxes, and solder vacuum furnaces.
• Troubleshoot of assemblies that do not pass leak checks and other various microelectronic assembly work will be part of the role.

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience operating laser welding equipment for hermetic sealing
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings
• Computer skills for retrieval of drawings, work instructions, and other job activities
• Ability to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments
• Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly without compromising quality
• Active or inactive secret clearance
• First Shift Hours 6:00am to 4:30pm
• Desired skills :
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
  • Experience with J-STD-001
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environment
