Zelis currently has an opening for an ASP.Net Front-End Software Engineer to move our company's software initiatives forward with their experience and skill while guiding a small team of developers to be at their best. While working with leads and managers to assist creating technical approaches from business requirements and ensuring developers are executing the technical direction with accuracy, care and efficiency. Excellent communication skills with a "can do" attitude with the ability to be flexible will make a good fit for the team.

We are looking for a strong front-end engineer with strong skills in developing web services as well. As a developer in this space, you will be doing a mix of adding features and maintaining legacy application while contributing to new products.

Location and Workplace Flexibility: We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. Responsibilities:

  • Develop software by analyzing business requirements; conferring with management and users; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
  • Determine and communicate project feasibility and sizing estimates through analysis, problem definition, requirement gathering, and solution development
  • Provide technical approaches to business requirements and being able to document technical approaches using flow charts, design diagrams and other communication methods
  • Facilitate design reviews and code reviews
  • Mentor development team members to help them succeed in their assignments
  • Protect company data by following standards to keep PHI/PII safe and by keeping information confidential
  • Update job knowledge (continuing education) by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities
  • Facilitate pre-production risk assessments and reviews

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing web applications and web services in .NET using C#
  • 5+ years of experience with Net 5+ and ASP.NET, MVC and/or Razor development, REST APIs development, and JavaScript and JavaScript web development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Kendo MVVM)
  • 3+ years of experience with Bootstrap 5, CSS Preprocessors (e.g. SASS, LESS), and converting Figma or other mockups and convert them to HTML/Razor with Bootstrap Layouts
  • 3+ years of experience with LINQ
  • 5+ years of experience writing SQL/ADO.Net queries, creating tables and views, stored procedures and performance enhancements

Preferred Experience:
  • Blazor experience
  • Experience with software design, OOD methodologies, and design patterns (e.g. GoF)
  • Proficiency with Dapper (SQL)
  • Understanding of CQRS patterns
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field
