Introduction to role:
Are you ready to deliver the value and potential of our groundbreaking pipeline? As the Analytics Director, US Oncology, you will lead commercial analytics within the US Oncology portfolio. Your role will be pivotal in driving commercial efficiency to improve our inline assets and accelerate new launches. You will collaborate with Marketing and other stakeholders to identify key business questions and answer them with innovative analytical approaches.
Accountabilities:
Your role will involve leading objective quantitative analysis and synthesis of key insights across different data sources to deliver actionable recommendations. You will apply advanced analytics approaches to deepen our understanding of disease states, treatment landscapes, and patient journeys. You will also serve as an expert resource on the scope, interpretation, and nuances of internal secondary data. Your leadership skills will be used in mentoring and coaching Analytics team members to enhance team capabilities and support professional growth.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- 6+ years of analytics, statistics, or data science experience
- Deep expertise with multiple APLD sources (Claims, Electronic Health Records)
- Intermediate experience in SQL data analysis language
- Direct experience with implementing BI visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc.)
- Experience prioritizing and directing the analytics work of more junior colleagues
- Proven excellent skills in collaborating with and presenting results to end-user clients/stakeholders.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Advanced Quantitative Degree in a related subject or Advanced Marketing Degree
- Expertise in at least one data analysis language (R, or Python)
- Experience working in Oncology.
- Project / Program management expertise
