Job Description Summary
The Analyst 2, Contract Performance Mgmt. - US Region will be responsible for identifying, understanding, evaluating and documenting contractual T&C's and related compliance processes for the IDS business segment. This position will report into the Senior Manager, Contract Performance Management Group - US Region and will collaborate with several key stakeholders from contracting, data and analytics, legal, IT, Sales, finance to understand data and information needs to measure, monitor, track and implement processes in the area of creating compliance contracts, measuring contract performance, review and remediate non-compliance contracts, drive creation of impactful dashboards and collaborate with sales team for resolution of non-compliance contracts.

The Analyst 2, Contract Performance Mgmt. - US Region will be responsible for identifying, understanding, evaluating and documenting contractual T&C's and related compliance processes for the IDS business segment. This position will report into the Senior Manager, Contract Performance Management Group - US Region and will collaborate with several key stakeholders from contracting, data and analytics, legal, IT, Sales, finance to understand data and information needs to measure, monitor, track and implement processes in the area of creating compliance contracts, measuring contract performance, review and remediate non-compliance contracts, drive creation of impactful dashboards and collaborate with sales team for resolution of non-compliance contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, cleanse, and validate contract compliance data to identify underperforming accounts for the business segment in the US Region
  • In depth review of existing customer contracts with relevant data and information to drive contractual commitments.
  • Analyze, evaluate and document E2E current contract measurement processes and recommend improvements needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from sales, finance, other BU's, legal, etc. to ensure data and information needed to drive contract performance is easily available and accessible.
  • Responsible to ensure data and information integrity is maintained throughout the contracting life cycle utilizing various control reports.
  • Actively support Sr. Manager within segment to ensure corrective measures are in place to support full compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Assist in creating customer and contract performance measurement scorecard to identify efficiency and effectiveness improvements throughout the contracting life cycle.
  • Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to support BU specific compliance monitoring processes.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage understand large amount of data in MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate data and information challenges and use networks to acquire relevant information
  • Experience developing and implementing contract review and compliance strategies, analytic tools and influencing others
  • Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast paced challenging environment and manage multiple, and oftentimes competing, priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - and active listening skills.
  • Experience with continuous process improvements a plus
  • Understanding of pricing/analytics, contracting life cycle and related tools: CLM, CPQ, Vistex, Vendavo, a strong plus
  • Basic knowledge of dashboarding tools e.g. Qlik or Power BI a plus


Qualifications:

Education & Experience
  • BS / BA Preferred
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in understanding compliance contracts and relevant review processes in the medical device / pharma industry - could be inclusive of experience in Commercial Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Marketing or Sales Operations.
