Daniels Health is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our ever growing team! Supporting our Accounting & Finance team with daily tasks including reconciliations, integration of newly acquired businesses, and supporting the team where deemed necessary.
What will you do?
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations for all entities
- Prepare weekly cash projections and cash flow reports
- Complete new customer set-ups in the billing system
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Perform key month-end close activities, including account reconciliations for all entities
- Prepare reports as may be required by senior management
- Assist with the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses
- Assist the team where deemed necessary
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Self-starter with ability to accomplish tasks with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and works well in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt in a growth-oriented and changing company
