Company Overview:
Ledgent is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join a growing team here in Tampa Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to contribute to a collaborative team while advancing their career in a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Process invoices, ensure accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and audits.
  • Provide support during financial audits and compliance reviews.
  • Handle other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
