Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their clients time in Union City. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a vital part of a dynamic and growing organization, providing essential support during a period of company expansion and acquisition. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting Manager to provide relief and handle the increased workload associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- 100% on site, working from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Supervising a team of two accountants, including one Accounts Receivable and one Accounts Payable accountant.
- Looking for someone with strong ERP experience to streamline accounting processes.
- Leveraging intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Handling hands-on tasks related to AR and AP, demonstrating a willingness to roll up sleeves and engage directly with processes.
- Collaborating within a department
- Ensuring smooth transition and integration of acquired company accounts and resources.
- Maintaining a high-energy approach, quickly adapting to the fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Background in manufacturing accounting preferred.
- Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and learn new systems and processes independently.
- Willingness to work onsite at least four times a week, with five times preferred.
Work Hours8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, onsite in California.
BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from $27-34/hour. Additional benefits may be discussed during the hiring process.
