About the Role
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for all billing and ensuring that all invoices are submitted accurately and on time to Uber Freight customers, as well as processing payments to carriers.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Know and understand account specific requirements - required charges, customer contracts, and billing periods
- Be available to answer any questions from the customer that may arise regarding invoices
- Collaborate with internal customers on issues affecting their account(s)
- Review purchase requisitions and check disbursements for supporting documents and proper approval
- Prepare daily statement with the invoices of vendors not submitted by Oracle
- Prepare and send statements to AP team for processing
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
- Responsible for delivery payments to the carriers
- Prepare documentation as needed for the customers
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 0-1 years of experience, Entry level
- At least 1 year experience in Finance A/R
- Proficient in 10-key
